- If your birthday is between the 11th and the 20th of your birth month, you would typically be receiving your payment from the SSA on the third Wednesday of the month, but since Juneteenth falls on the third Wednesday of June this year, you will get your benefit payment on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
- If your birthday is between the 21st and the 31st of your birth month, you should get your benefit payment from the SSA on the fourth Wednesday in June (Wednesday, June 26, 2024).

May 31st (SSI Payments): The SSA will send out your SSI Social Security payment for June l, 2024 on Friday, May 31st (because June 1st falls on a Saturday this year).

- You reside outside the United States.
- You get SSI benefits as well as other Social Security benefits concurrently.

Anyone who receives a type of benefit other than SSI will receive their June 2024 benefit payment on the dates listed below:
June 12th: If your birthday occurs between the 1st of your birth month and the 10th of your birth month, you should get your June 2024 Social Security payment on the second Wednesday of June which is Wednesday, June 12th.
June 18th: If your birthday occurs between the 11th and the 20th of your birth month, you should get your June 2024 Social Security payment on Tuesday, June 18th. Please note that this is different from the usual schedule of benefit payments being paid on Wednesdays because Wednesday, June 19, 2024, is the Juneteenth holiday this year. As such, Social Security benefit payments will be sent out a day early on Tuesday, June 18th.
June 26th: If your birthday is either on or after the 21st of your birth month, you should get your June 2024 Social Security payment on the fourth Wednesday of June which is Wednesday, June 26th.
If you receive SSI, you might end up receiving two payments in May 2024 instead of receiving a payment in June. Once again this is because June 1st falls on a Saturday this year. And, when the first of the month falls on a Saturday, the SSA deposits SSI benefit money into recipients’ accounts on the last day of the previous month.
So, if you are receiving SSI, you will receive two payments in May but none in June.
If your birth date is between the 11th and 20th of your birth month, you should receive your Social Security benefit payment on the third Wednesday of the month. However, in June you will receive your benefit money on Tuesday, June 18th instead of Wednesday, June 19th because June 19th is the Juneteenth holiday.
